So the thing about Arou (or, well, one of the things) is that he's a massively powerful psychic. Whenever he comes into physical contact with other people or objects, he "sees" part of their past.
What he sees, and how much, is a little moredependent on this chapter's plot uncertain. If an object is connected to a very emotional event, or a person has such an event on their mind, he's likely to "see" that, regardless of the time that has passed since that event occurred. If he has some sort of personal connection to something, he'll "see" things relating to that (a house might have been home to other people since, but if his mother lived there he'll "see" her). He's also able to "look" for specifics (i.e. "did this person pass by here?"), but it takes concentration and can drain him. Most of the time, though, he'll probably just end up "seeing" some random little event from the past few days as he bumps into you. These kinds of things are basically white noise to him at this point- he may "see" what your character had for breakfast, but he probably won't remember what it was if you ask him an hour later. It's the emotional stuff he pays attention to. Even then, Arou will try to keep the information to himself unless he has a compelling reason to bring it up (i.e. he wants you to remember something that will inspire you to be less evil, or he is really pissed at you).
It's also worth noting that what Arou "sees" is what actually happened, which can be pretty different from how the people involved remember things.
None of this, of course, will come into play unless your characters are involved in logs with Arou and have given me permission! So here is a handy form:

If so, is there anything he is particularly likely to "see"?: Strong emotional moments are probably him getting turned into a chimera by Rezo, the deaths of Zolf and Rodimus at the hands of Ruby-Eye Shabranigdu, or basically any of the high points of the first three seasons of Slayers that Zel was present for. Poke me if you want specific details.
Are there things you would like him to be unable to "see"?: Nope, it's fine!
Anything else: Arou is probably one of the most likely people to find out that Rezo is Zel's grandfather, if he can pull that kind of thing out from memories.

If so, is there anything he is particularly likely to "see"?: Basically anything in an opening cutscene, final boss fight, or ending cutscenes is likely - particular high notes are probably Daxter's transformation (Jak & Daxter), getting sent to the future and experimented on by Praxis (Jak II), getting sent into the past (from both perspectives, since he was present at the event at two points in time) (Jak II again), him being cast out of Haven City (Jak 3), and finally getting to kiss Keira (Jak X). One notable point not in any such scenes is the big reveal that Damas was his father, right after he dies.
Are there things you would like him to be unable to "see"?: One notable thing Arou probably won't see is the true identity of the Precursors, since I'm trying to keep their influence in hiding from extraordinary perception consistent.

If so, is there anything he is particularly likely to "see"?: Probably the biggest really emotional moment is her spending time with her boyfriend (Leila's backstory is... a bit thin). Other than that, you probably get particularly harrowing medieval spy missions.
Are there things you would like him to be unable to "see"?: Basically any time she shows up in the actual game hasn't happened for her yet.

If so, is there anything he is particularly likely to "see"?: Well her most impactful one would be her siblings getting murdered. Maybe shooting like a million computers. Nearly getting her mind erased by Naoi. Or you know, just doin' random shit. Going fishing with the SSS or teasing people. Or cuttin' up bitches you know whatevs whatevs. Smoochin' Battler whatever.
Are there things you would like him to be unable to "see"?: Her own death. He wouldn't be able to see what she saw when she was enveloped by shadows either, since that was mostly in her head. He'd just see her getting swallowed up by shadows if he saw that.

The first is when her mom came to one of her gymanastic meets so drunk that she made a scene and threw up on a lot of people. The second, and probably stronger, would be a pregnancy scare she had when she was 16.

Can Arou "see" their past?: Yes
If so, is there anything he is particularly likely to "see"?: Loads of emotional stuff. His family was killed by the Prince and he was taken in to become his heir. Since the guy tried to brainwash him to be evil and do horrible things, loads of stuff could come here. When he managed to escape - after losing loads of friends - he had to live on the streets until he went to jail for a murder he didn't commit. From there, he's kidnapped again and experimented on and THEN we get to the beginning of the show xD So, any of that?
